THE IMPORTANCE OF DARIDAGH ARSENIC WATER IN THE COMPLEX TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS
Abstract
Deforming osteoarthritis is one of the diseases affecting the majority of the population. In the clinical course of osteoarthritis, the pain syndrome disrupts the quality of patients’ lives with its acuteness. It has been proven that, the use of physical and natural factors in the treatment of osteoarthritis is considered one of the safest methods. From this point of view, the application of natural Daridagh arsenic salt (DAS) solution in the treatment of joint diseases is very interesting. During 2019-2023, 150 osteoarthritis patients were examined and women (70%) predominated among them. Depending on the prescribed treatment methods, patients with osteoarthritis are divided into 3 groups: 1st main group: 90 patients were comprehensively given general electrophoresis and microwaves in pulse mode with a 4% solution of Daridagh arsenic salt. 2nd group: 27 patients were given general electrophoresis with a 4% solution of Daridagh arsenic salt. 3rd group: 33 patients were given pulsed microwaves locally to the joints by the contact method. Group treatments were performed with massage and therapeutic gymnastics. Due to the compensation of imbalances caused by its complex therapeutic effect, the regression of inflammation and destructive processes stabilized the pathogenesis mechanisms of osteoarthritis.
