Abstract

In this article, we observed the unified view of the macromicroscopic parameters of the organ by examining
the macromicroscopic structure of the thyroid gland, which is actively involved in the body's compensation
and adaptation processes. The purpose of the research work is to study the macromicroscopic structural features
of the thyroid gland during adolescence. In our scientific work we used from silver impregnation
method by Kupriyanov, toluoidine and hematoxylin-eosin staining methods. Based on our observations,
polymorphism is observed in the follicles of the thyroid gland during adolescence, as well as a decrease in
the height of the follicle epithelium, presence of sometimes prismatic, mostly cuboidal and flat epithelium
is noticeable. A cuboidal epithelium is noted at a height of 5-7 μm. In different age periods, especially in
teenagers, the neurovascular relationship, the nerve sheaths are often found. The morphological features of
structural homeostasis is characterized by the formation of changes in the activity of the thyroid gland under
the influence of strumogen factors.
The changes in the microcirculatory system are observed at the initial stages. Macroscopic parameters, as well as functional insufficiency of the thyroid gland, depend on gender and age. So, the diameter of follicles in males with age decreases by an average of 10-12% in different parts of the gland and in females it increases by an average of 4-5%. During the macromicroscopic examination of the thyroid gland were obtained the 10-13% nodular, 80-86% follicular and 80-90% diffuse types of goiter in our study. The intrafollicular proliferation as 30-32% is noted in thyroid gland epithelium. The results obtained in the study can be used as preventive step during various pathologies of the thyroid gland.
